The mat is made using siloxane polymerisation technology from an environmentally friendly organic silicone rubber formula that is nontoxic, tasteless, odourless and can withstand extremes of heat and cold ranging from -50’C to 200’C. The product is also biologically inert, making it suitable for use in many medical environments. The surface is made up of many microscopic suction cups (similar to insects’ feet) allowing it to stick to surfaces but easily be peeled off leaving no mark or residue. If it gets dirty it can be rinsed in water and retain its original adhesive properties. These mats are useful both as a very non-slip mat and to stick items such as remotes, phones, medication etc. in an easy to locate position. They will adhere to vertical as well as horizontal flat surfaces and hold smooth objects in place.
