It is globally renowned for its high chemical and thermal resisting properties. The bearers of these properties are well developed mullite crystals, not only increasing the softening point but also ensuring both high mechanical resistance and low co-efficient of thermal expansion, the result of which enables the porcelain to withstand high thermal shocks.
