Rocket Factory Pack [45272]

Design and make your own realistic rockets and launch them safely to heights of up to 100 metres.

The Rocket Factory offers a unique alternative to solid fuel rockets and other systems for those who want to design, make and investigate the characteristics of small rockets. Its great advantage is that it offers near solid fuel rocket performance at ZERO COST PER LAUNCH!

The rockets are made by rolling paper around a plastic tube and attaching a plastic nose cone. Please note this kit does not include a rolling mandrel (order code 45273) or spare nose cones (order code 45445) and also requires paper and the use of a foot pump (also available code 45285). 

The rockets are propelled using an electrically–controlled compressed air launcher which gives near–chemical performance.

The Rocket Factory contains launcher and key switch ‘firing’ unit. Uses any cycle or car foot pump (not supplied) and requires 2 alkaline PP3 batteries. A comprehensive booklet is supplied with the kit, full of ideas and suggestions for using the Rocket Factory with students.
